Re: Cousin Bernice's research and image links to original docs

Thanks Teri and Bernice -  Lesley and
I did a bit of tidying up of our Vospers while I was up with her in Scotland last week. We'll have to check to confirm with Berenice's findings.
Thanks again

Hello all Vosper Cousins!

Cousin Bernice went to the genealogical library in Salt Lake City, and while there, did some research for us on our Vosper ancestors.

I had images of some of the transcribed records from our Ancestors, but Bernice was able to find some images of the original records, and is sharing them with us.  I can't thank Bernice enough for doing this work – there is nothing like having a copy of the original record, and this work has validated the transcripts we have.   I have added them to my tree, and have included a link to them below, if you'd like to add them to yours.

Joanna Vosper's baptism – daughter of John Vosper and Grace Goddard.   This record is important because it confirms Grace's maiden name.

John Vosper baptism, 1730, Lezant – son of Joseph Vosper and Lydia [Isbell] Vosper.

Joseph Vosper baptism, 1624 – North Tamerton – son of Daniell Vosper

Joseph Vosper baptism, 1657 – North Tamerton – son of Joseph Vosper and Mary Frane

John Vosper marriage to Grace Goddard, 1756 in Lawhitton

Joseph Vosper marriage to Lyddia Isabel 1723 in Lezant

Joseph Vosper marriage to Mary Frane, 1649, North Tamerton

William Menhennitt to Joanna Vosper, 1786, Bodmin

From our little Cousins Chart, these are the records documenting these baptisms and marriages:

Thanks, again, Bernice!
