I am now in Salt Lake City, and have found the above referenced record. You can find it on my tree at:
I will try to keep my comments brief, and spend as much time as possible researching….
Happy days to you and yours!

Degory Baskevill - revised theory
Just when I said I was moving on to other lines I did this search: https://www.familysearch.org/search/record/results?givenname=Dogory&surname=Baskeville&birth_place=Shaugh%2C%20Devon%2C%20England&birth_year_from=1600&birth_year_to=1750&count=20&offset=0
I guess I’ll be working on this for awhile longer!
Digory Baskeville, son of Digory and Mary (he is a great uncle of ours):
After looking all this over, here is a revised theory of the Baskevilles of this region (our line is on the far right):
I have entered this on my tree as if the “same?” Is a yes.
Good old fashioned hunch given the lack of evidence.
Yes. I know. WAG are not allowed in genealogy. But it’s not ENTIRELY wild!
Here is the marriage record of Digory to Honour Dungie from 1646:
(BTW, Chris b. 1693 named a daughter HONOR in 1725. Just saying.

Now, really, after lunch, I’m moving on to another family line. Time is running out!

Elizabeth Pearce (abt 1665 - abt 1730)
There are so many Elizabeth Pearce’s that I am unable to discern which is her to determine parentage or vitals.
Darn it!

Theory of the Male Baskevill lines
Hi Cousins! Happy Thursday!
I have gone through the baptism records of the Cornwood and Shaugh Priorys and picked out as many of the Baskevill baptism records as I could make sense of. I’ve arranged them in family groups, trying to figure out where Digory may fit in. Here’s how it came out:
As you can see, I haven’t come any closer to figuring out where Digory belongs. He could be the son of any one of the (supposed) brothers, Henry, Richard, Sampson, or Thomas – all of whom are shown as having children, but non of whom show baptismal records. You can review some of the research records here: https://www.familysearch.org/search/record/results?surname=Baskeville&birth_place=Shaugh%2C%20Devon%2C%20England&birth_year_from=1600&birth_year_to=1750&count=20&offset=0
Time to move on to other lines! Only 2 days left! (sorry for how I interchange the spelling of Baskevill, Baskervill, Baskerville….)

Encountering some technical difficulties here. Seems when I’ve been here about 8 hours my computer can’t work anymore. I SWEAR, it is not user error! They keep logging me out of their network!
