Actually, I don't know any of this: You know the story of Joseph of Arimathea going to Glastonbury and perhaps stories told by Cornish tin miners about Joseph being involved in the tin trade and coming to Cornwall (bringing the young Jesus on an earlier visit). Earlier on it was the Phoenicians who traded tin and saffron in Cornwall. Fantastic stuff!
Got some stories for me?
Teri

Yes the traditions and hearthside stories is from a contempory of the Reverend Vosper-Thomas who put together the pedigree, inaccurate as it is, that appears in Vivian and Burke. Which told the other about a Jewish connection we do not know, but since the hearthside stories mention a mining connection perhaps the original Jewish family legend was a bit different. I don't see how it could fit into the line at the time of Henry Vii but perhaps earlier. .... .
