Last year our cousin Bill Matthews told me that Daphne Du Maurier wrote books that took place in Cornwall, and I’ve been searching for them ever since.
Last week I found SIX in one place, and I’ve finished reading “The House on the Strand”. It’s an interesting story of ‘time travel’ with the past period being in the late 1300s. It takes place around Tywardreath, which is about 56 miles from Pillaton, where my Vosper ancestors were from.
